Triage for WhatsApp

Find the client in 1,281 unread messages.

Lampline reads a Dubai broker's WhatsApp, read only. It shows the chats that need you, turns the broker groups into priced listings, and tells you which clients each one fits.

See who is waiting

Seven chats need you; 1,144 messages of group chatter do not. Every chat lands in a lane, with the reason it is there.

Every listing, priced

Broker-group posts become listings you can search: unit, building, community, AED price and price per square foot.

Matched as it lands

Each new post is checked against your clients' briefs. When one fits, your phone tells you, with a reply drafted.

95 seconds, with sound. Every name, number and listing in the demo is invented. On an iPhone, open lampline.articulate-ai.work/app in Safari and choose Share, then Add to Home Screen, to try the phone app.

The inventory lives in WhatsApp groups.

In Dubai, much of the stock that matters moves through broker groups: distress deals, pocket listings, exclusives, launch releases. One group can post four hundred messages a day, most of them greetings and congratulations.

Clients write in the same app. So do other brokers looking for a unit, developers with price lists and the office with deadlines. The client asking about a viewing sits between a "good morning" and a webinar invite.

Needs you

Every chat in a lane

Lampline reads each message and sorts every chat: needs you, listings, for information, quiet, and not read. Group chatter stops competing with clients.

Inbox with five lanes. Seven chats in Needs you, four broker groups in Listings.Lampline inbox on a phone: seven chats in Needs you.
Why it's at the top

Reasons, in plain words

Open a chat and it says why it matters: a client, a question, a viewing, a 15M budget, three hours waiting. Then it drafts a reply from what the groups are offering. You copy it and send it yourself.

Find

Search every group at once

Type "studio in JVC under 650k". Lampline reads the unit, the community and the budget, and returns priced listings with size, price per square foot, who posted them and when.

Matches

Client briefs, checked all day

Each client's brief is checked against every listing the groups post. The penthouse buyer sees the one penthouse under 15M. The studio investor sees four.

Alerts

Set a rule once

When a broker posts a studio in JVC at 585k, the rule fires as the message arrives, with the clients it fits and the price per square foot.

Privacy

You decide what it reads

Personal chats are marked never read and are skipped before their text is fetched. Lampline has no way to send, reply, forward or delete.

Privacy settings: six personal chats set to never read.Privacy on a phone: which chats Lampline may read.

How it reads WhatsApp

WhatsApp's official Business API cannot read groups you have joined or your personal chats. The only way in is the same one WhatsApp Web uses: linking a computer to your phone.

  • Lampline links to your number as a device, the way WhatsApp Web does.
  • It reads only. Sending is not built in.
  • Chats you exclude are skipped before their text is fetched.
  • Messages are stored and searched on your own computer.

Linked-device bridges are unofficial, and WhatsApp has banned accounts using unofficial clients. Reading at low volume, without sending, lowers the exposure but does not remove it.

How it fits together

Lampline is a Mac app. Everything runs on the broker's own Mac mini, which stays on. The phone gets alerts. Each layer builds on the one below it.

Where you use itThe Mac app, alerts on your phone, your CRM, exports.
Personal agentAnswers questions about your chats, writes the morning brief, drafts replies, builds viewing packs. Talks only to you.
Knowledge layerClients and their briefs, every listing seen and its price changes, buildings and DLD sales, brochures and floor plans, which broker covers which tower.
Triage engineSorts chats into lanes, reads listings out of group posts, matches briefs, fires rules. Built in Rust.
Message storeEvery message you allow, kept and searchable on your Mac.
WhatsApp bridgeLinks to your number as a device, read only. Excluded chats are never fetched.

Is it an app?

Yes, a desktop app for the Mac, built with Tauri: the Rust engine and the React screens in one native window. Alerts reach the phone. Nothing needs a cloud server; the agent calls an AI model for the writing.

How it links to a CRM

  • Clients and brokers become contacts, tagged by role and building.
  • Each client brief becomes a deal; matched listings attach to it.
  • A one-line summary of each conversation is logged as activity.
  • New contacts wait for your yes. Deal stages stay in the CRM.
  • HubSpot, Airtable or Salesforce, by their APIs.

Getting things out

  • Copy a drafted reply into WhatsApp.
  • Export listings or matches to Excel or CSV.
  • A PDF pack per client: listings, floor plans, sold prices nearby.
  • Ask Claude directly: Lampline offers an MCP connection, read only.

The software in it

  • Bridge: whatsmeow, the Go library behind wacli.
  • Store: SQLite with full-text search.
  • Engine: Rust.
  • Knowledge: SQLite plus a search index over documents.
  • Agent: Claude, with tools for search, briefs, drafts and packs.
  • App: Tauri with React. Alerts: push to the phone.

A day with Lampline

One broker, one working day. The clients and listings are the demo's invented ones.

Morning brief, on the phone

214 messages overnight. Three people waiting: Elena wants Wednesday viewings, Selim asked about studios, Fabien is ready to sign. Two new listings fit Elena's penthouse brief.

Clear the Needs you lane

At the Mac with coffee. Seven chats, each with its reasons and a draft. He edits two drafts, copies four replies into WhatsApp and marks them done. Eleven minutes.

An alert lands

A broker posts a studio in JVC at 585k. The rule fires with the clients it fits. He asks the agent for a one-page pack for Selim and sends it himself.

Ask, don't scroll

"What did Fabien say about his tenant?" The agent answers from the chat: the tenant leaves at the end of November. "Who has a 2-bed in Marina Gate under 3.2M?" Two listings, with who posted them.

Viewing pack for Elena

Three penthouses from the groups, each with floor plan, recent sales in the building from DLD data and price per square foot. Built from the knowledge layer in a minute.

Another broker is looking

Tariq has a cash buyer for a 2-bed in Dubai Marina up to 3.2M. The agent spots Fabien's listing and drafts a reply to Tariq, with the split to agree.

The CRM is already up to date

Contacts, briefs and conversation notes synced. The office sees the pipeline without him typing it in.

Lamps off

Nothing in Needs you. Family chats were never read. The phone stays quiet until something needs him.

What else is out there

Several tools summarise and reply on WhatsApp. None we found parses Dubai broker groups into listings for the broker's own use, or matches them to client briefs.
